While all of our individual scrunchies are fantastic gifts (and especially great as stocking stuffers), we wanted to turn it up a notch for our first-ever holiday gift guide.
We’re an independent business and we love supporting other independent businesses. For this gift guide, we’ll be pairing our individual scrunchie designs with products from businesses just like us - we hope you'll be shopping small this holiday season.
All of the products featured are either things I have tried (and love!), or will be gifting (to myself or others) this holiday season.
(As a disclaimer, The Scrunchie Club receives no direct monetary benefit if you purchase from the small businesses featured in this guide; this is an affiliate-free zone!)
“Hysterical Female” Tee by Rachel Antonoff ($45)
I’ve had this t-shirt for a couple years now, and every time I wear it, I get at least one compliment. Even better, this shirt makes me feel like I can tackle anything on my to do list.
Custom Hair Barrettes from Delancey Collective ($8.00)
Founded by my pal Traci, Delancey Collective creatives super fun handmade resin hair clips and coasters. Her gifts are customizable, so you can add your sister’s name or favorite movie quote!
Sleep Stone from Kate McLeod ($45)
I’ve given Kate McLeod’s sleep stone as a gift a couple of times over the past year and it always receives rave reviews! A full body moisturizer in the shape of a stone, it melts when it comes in contact with your skin. It comes in a few different varieties, and the bamboo canister makes it super giftable.
Ghosts by Studio Arhoj (Colors + prices vary, starting at €20)
Last summer, before a trip to Copenhagen, my friend Anna told me about Studio Arhoj. It was so cool to visit their studio, and I was delighted by their Ghost figurines—which are “based on the ideaof the Japanese Shinto religion that everything in nature has a soul.” Available in all different colors, they also double as exceptional scrunchie holders.
Thigh Rescue from Megababe ($14)
I’m recommending Thigh Rescue as a holiday gift, because it’s one of those products that you don’t realize you need until you have it and can’t live without it. Thigh chafe sucks, now that I’ve seen the light (aka Thigh Rescue), I’ll be recommending it to every friend for the rest of time. Along with our scrunchies, this would be a great stocking stuffer too!
Custom Pet Ornament by LilacandPoly on Etsy ($37)
When it comes to pet-themed gifts, customization is the way to go. Based in Newburgh, New York, this Etsy shopcreates beautiful custom ornaments made out of clay. Since these are custom, make sure to order with plenty of time before the holidays.
Love Note No. 2 Candle by Love Notes Fragrances ($30)
2020 has been… quite a year. My favorite new candle this year, the lavender scent provides the ultimate moment of zen.
This is the only gift on this list that is riding solo - our Starter Pack Gift Set is the perfect gift idea for that person in your life who is scrunchie obsessed. Including our first four designs and gift wrapping, it’s a great option if you’re looking to send to the recipient directly. (Make sure to include any gift recipient info in the notes section of your order!)
This year, we encourage you to get your holiday shopping done early. We’d love to hear about what small businesses you are supporting this holiday season! Send us a note on Instagram or via email at email@example.com.
